Dr. Kay M. Baker
Dr. Kay Baker is a 1984 graduate of Kansas State University. She worked one year at the university’s animal resource facility before moving to West Virginia, where she worked for 2 years in a large multi-doctor small animal hospital. In 1987 she and her husband purchased Lebanon Road Animal Hospital. She is a long time member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association, and the Nashville Academy of Veterinary Medicine.
The greatest reward of being a small animal veterinarian is being able to help families enjoy a long and healthy relationship with their pet. From the first visit with a feisty puppy or kitten until the tough decisions that have to be made with an elderly pet, Dr. Kay’s goal is to make sure all pet owners are the best owners possible.
She is married to Dr. Ben Baker and has four children, four grand children, and three “furry” children that keep her busy.
In her free time, Dr. Kay loves to ride motorcycles with her husband and tour this beautiful country of ours. Together they have ridden thousands of miles, visited all 50 states, and have seen many spectacular sites.
